looking for a 3/16" in line fuel filter

Hi Folks,

want to add an in line fuel filter to a 3750KW Generac. They didn't feel it was necessary to have one? Problem is, the fuel lines have an ID of 3/16" and everything I can find is for 1/4" I suppose I could build up the 3/16" barbs with "something" but "something would probably release particles which would plug carb jets. Also thought about replacing the 3/16" hose with 1/4" and using hose clamps to really tighten it up on the tank and carb barbs.. When this is in use it sits on my covered front porch unattended. I'm concerned that not using the right size hose could lead to a leak.....

Does anyone know of a inline fuel filter with 3/16" barbs?

Thanks for your time,

Ev

Never mind, found one, attached a link if anyone is interested.

In researching this discovered that gravity feed systems have a larger micron size than those which have a fuel pump. Makes sense I guess. Anyway, 75 micron is better than nothing.

Here is a link that might be useful: 3/16
