craftsman power washer pressure issue

I have a 2200 psi power washer-motor runs fine.When attempting to wash the pump seems to build pressure and when you pull trigger it has a burst of pressure and then it seems like a high pressure garden hose only. Replaced the pump with a higher pressure and better pump but it still does the very same thing.Help!

Hmmmm sounds to me like there is a problem with the wand. Maybe its clogged. You can read here at the top part on how to clean it .
