| How does one remove the gas tank on this IDC 500 Supreme string trimmer. Any ideas would be much appreciated. This unit is now called Ryobi. Model is IDC 500-2. |

| If it is like most i have seen, you have to remove the back plate that covers the part where the connecting rod goes around the crankshaft. A bunch of screws to remove, and it pulls off, and the fuel tank will practically fall off. Of course, there are other ways it is held on, but this is the most i have seen. |
