Snowblower Toro or Ariens

Need some help. Looking to buy a snow blower for this season under 1k and was looking at the Toro Power Max 24 and Ariens Deluxe 24 based on reputation and my dads old Toro that lasted forever. Anyone have any recommendations. I have not tested either yet.

RE: Snowblower Toro or Ariens

Ab7: Both Manufacturers make a good Product . I have had issues with some damage on the Toro Chute controls due to freeze up . This damage was caused by operator error . The Ariens has old school metal chute requiring cleaning and waxing compared to abs plastic on the Toro and controls are old technology (Joy stick ) chute rotation is not available as on the Toro . Personnally I prefer the Ariens , both offer Briggs Engines and the pricing is comparative . I guess it's really up to your preference .

Both of these are good choices. I found that Snow Blowers Direct is a great site for comparing different models and reading reviews.

Here is a link that might be useful: Snow Blowers Direct
