| I am interested in obtaining resistive wire for soil heating.
I'm looking for sources that are not Wrap-on's pre configured soil heaters. If it helps - 100 ohms to 25 ohms per foot would work - needs to be an insulated wire. |

| Some years back I made a couple of cold frames, then converted one to a hot bed by adding electric cable. I ended up just buying some online. The closest I could come up with locally was "heat trace" cable at the local Electrical Supply house. I didn't go very far with the heat race due to time so don't know if it would have been viable. | Thank you for the prompt reply. I've noticed the 2 wire self limiting cable elsewhere but your brand name mention has led to a lower cost source of 2 wire self limiting product. Still seeking the 1 wire product. |
