Sears Rear Tine Tiller Model 917.29915 - Transmission oil

I just acquired the subject tiller. I assume that there is oil in the transmission but cannot find where to check it or where to add oil. I tried to get the manual from Sears but it is discontinued. Can anyone tell me how to check the oil level, where to add it, and what kind of oil I should be using.

You can use 80-90W Gear lube. Does it have any large square or allen head plugs?

I have a different model Crafstman tiller, it doesn't take oil for the transmission. I have to use 10z of EP1 grease. Look for a grease zerk.

I have a 917.219850 rear tine tiller There is a plug behind the belt shield. You need to remove the tire and the shield to get to the plug.
