I am looking for a vacuum fuel pump . Its for a kipor kge 1000ti genset. I am in B.C. Canada. The local shop has to get it out of eastern Canada. Part plus shipping $50 to $60 dollars. Anyone out there get it for me cheaper? Or an after market part. Bob

Can't you buy one of the vacuum type of fuel pump? An aftermarket pump will work well. To get the vacuum to operate the pump, i get a brass fuel line threaded nipple, drill a hole in the plastic oil fill tube, up near the top, then screw in the nipple, and attach the hose to it! I've seen several types, especially on B&S Vanguard engines.
The pump does not "suck" the oil up the dip-stick tube! But it does give you the vacuum to operate the pump.
