Hello all,
I like to get some input on and the older Troy Bilt 5HP Chipper Vac for oak leave pickup/ bagging and chipping oak branches up to 2 inches (some adds claim 3'). The look to be 1990s vintage and come under various models including 47278, 47279 and others. I looks like different models had various speeds, attachments and maybe some other options.
A couple of things come to mind: Are they good for the job I have or are the new shredder vacs better? Reliability?Maintenance ? - parts availability looks limited. How is the Tecumseh 5 hp engine of this vintage ?
