IâÂÂm off to Granger after being spoiled with this timer 20-30 years at least. I finally got some good results as turning off and the wound down stopping but not consistently. ItâÂÂs has been handy to charge (boatâÂÂs batt) for 2-3 hrs or use the compressor 2-3 hrs and have a backup toward getting them off (vs hearing the compressor come on later).

I actually plug and unplug the items into the mounted receptacle with the timer using half of the 4 way electrical box. IâÂÂll add the radio on low as a reminder when I go up with the new timer. LOL. Moving On!

A âÂÂquick/rough trialâ of my Grainger vs Granger purchases today (both were interesting in the short time slots to experiment).

The 12 hr spring wound timer had changed a little in 20 - 30 yrs but it worked and cut-off as designed. IâÂÂll get the surface box mounted and be back in business. It might be a slight learning curb or minimal timing IâÂÂll have to read about (one click on took too long to turn off IMO). Such as, turned to the first click seemed longer than 30 minutes (as the increments appear to represent).
