An Improved Craftsman 1/4" Ratchet

I found what I hope is An Improved Craftsman 1/4" Ratchet. The original 70s and 90s ratchet only had a wire retainer vs a snap-ring with eyes for pliers. 40 years later I was glad to see the improvement vs using the ratchet yet.
The 1/4" ratchet has been a true work-horse with small engines, autos and general maintenance jobs. The old Monster would always come apart in the middle of a job.
After greasing and repairing it I would always try it a few more years thinking it c/n come apart again. Wrong! The new will have to be easier to reassemble with the eyes if it comes apart (which I doubt since the ring is heavier). Last replaced in 1990 LOL!
