I have a red max blower eb4401 . I had trouble starting and it turned out i had to replace the piston and rings. I used it twice and it ran fine ,the next time iwent to use it it wont start. I have com 120 ,spark i sprayed ether not even apop. I took apart & checked piston & rings all look okay. Was wondering if key could be alittle off (What do i do to check the key what do i take apart?) This thing really has me baffled . Thanks Jim

RE: redmax blower

Put a new plug in first, plugs will spark outside a motor but not work, don't use too much ether, a little mix dumped down the carb or cylinder is better, if you do hold it wide open and it might take over 10 pulls if you put a lot in. It's very unlikely the flywheel key sheared on a blower unless you sucked something in and killed the motor real fast. Steve
