The Wen is possibly an old inexpensive saw that I had not seen or heard of. The 14â saw was given to me possibly after one small use. The chain would not stay on the drive sprocket. Experimenting, I felt the bar was flexing and influencing the chain to run off the sprocket. I felt a shorter 10-12â bar would solve the flexing and problem. The 10-12â bar will allow it to be a fair limb saw but not worth the purchase. LOL!

None of my spares bars off small limb saws would fit. My next option was to add 1/8" - 3/16â Lexan Plastic guide washers on the sides of the sprocket. The chain has not run off with very little to no damage to the plastic. The blade appeared to track close to the center of the bar. This led me to believe the 14â bar was flexing to cause the chain to run off. A longer bolt is possibly needed if above 1/8â Lexan is used. Plus, I feel the plasticâÂÂs dia can work below the teeth to avoid damage (vs my attached dia).
