Need help with Echo Backpack Blower.

PB4600 is the model. A friend of mine asked me to look at it (no spark)
I'm wanting to get a look at the coil but have never fooled with a backpack blower before (though I know chainsaws and hand held blowers trimmers, etc)

I'm wanting to know the quickest way / how much or little I have to take off and in what order to reach the coil and flywheel.

Any of you fellows disassemble this model before?
Thanks in advance.

RE: Need help with Echo Backpack Blower.

Can not help you with the disassembly but, I would first verify the on and off switch first. IMO the weakest link in the system. I don't know what type of switch Echo has? One two position switch ON or OFF (just like light switch you can check with multimeter) or a spring loaded switch that spring loaded in the on position.

either way the switch and wiring connections (including ground) must be verified before you go after the coil.
