my brother in law brought over a Craftsman 4200 watt generator that he found in someones garbage. the engine is not seized, it's made by generac. the craftsman model # is 580 329140 s/n 7434819 the tag from generac says YGNX2161GA there is also another tag on the motor that says engine id 00427606 HC
displacement 220cc
s/n 1310592 and another tag that has these numbers in a triangular form 220 @top 02321@ bottom left 08 bottom right.
i'm trying to find the manual for it on-line. it has no spark and about 15lbs. of compression.
what should i do first?
thanks,
JT

I found a manual for this machine and emailed it to you. I would take off the carburetor and clean it and its jets. Then try fresh gas (after draining the old) and a new plug and see if it fires.
