Gas Powered pressure washers?

OK, was doing some routine storage on my equipment today and changed the oil in my pressure washer pump sump. Yes, even the cheapest pressure washer from sears has sump that holds oil. I was susprised how dirty the oil was from last year. I might put 6 to 8 hours year on it if that. I think some mositure seeps in causing the oil to turn a dark greyist color. My unit don't hold much, but IMO it's still and important part of making your equipment last. Mine about 9 years old.

Have to ask how many that own gas powered pressure washers even know the pump has oil sump? This could be one of the reasons of pre-mature failures?
