| Greetings all
I have a 17 hp briggs model 311707 type0132-E1. It is 11 years old. It started blasting a large cloud of white smoke recently. I thought it was the breather assembly but replacing this assembly is still allowing oil to come into the air filter and carb. I took off the air filter and the breather tube is puffing smoke. Does this mean rings or hopefully just doing the valves. Thanks for any help. |

| My guess is rings or a hole in the piston. Sounds like a job that I wouldn't want. Good luck with it |
