another BS starting problem...fully charged battey will not turn the engine over enough to start it, before the battery losses strength.

31H777 0117E1 used in a Snapper Zero Turn

I adjusted the valves to .004 at TDC. Should I have gone 1/4 tun past TDC?

What else could it be?

Any help is appreciated

RE: Briggs and Stratton 18 hp

Valves are set to .003" - .005" for Intake, .005' - .007" for Exhaust with the Intake being the critical one and they are set at 1/4" down past TDC.

For compression release test which may indicate bad camshaft plus other helpful hints, contact me at address below, put in proper format and remind me, model number.
