Sudden death !!!

| I was mowing on my Husqvarna YTH2348 when it suddenly quit. No hesitation, no surging -- it just quit. Battery voltage is 12+ volts. When key is turned to ignition, nothing happens. Even the LCD hour-meter fails to come on.
All connections appear to be secure. Tractor has 130 hours since new and is in very good condition.
Is there a resistor in the circuit that may have opened?

| Did the plug pull off of the back of the ignition switch? |

One possibility is a blown or broken fuse. If the fuse fails, current to the afterfire solenoid stops. Fuel flow through the carburetor will stop and the engine will quit. There will not be current available to operate the hour meter. |

Thanks, RustyJ4, but the plug is fine. However, Bluemower nailed it. Though I had trouble finding it, the fuse is blown. Of course, now the question is "why". I'll buy me a few and see what happens. Thanks again, fellas! -H52 |
