Craftsman tracked snow blower owners maanuals?

A few years back, Craftsman/Sears sold a tracked snow blower/ thrower! A friend bought one, used, from the original owner, who said he couldn't find the booklets that came with it! (Probably used the pages to light the furnace!)
Now, my friend called and asked if those booklets or instructions could be found, thru Sears Parts Direct, or otherwise.
He called and gave me the numbers off the machine, but they don't compute in Sears Parts Direct. Here's what he sent to me:
M536-8854-7000 (Not sure if they are the right numbers)
Code: 4165-02609
Any body have an idea of how to get the manuals? I tried typing them into the Parts Direct web-site, but nothing works. And, the snow here is getting deeper, as i write, and he's getting antsy! Any help will be greatly appreciated!

| Rusty, Here's all I could come up with. It appears the actual model number doesn't use the M on the model number . I found a listing for one under 536885471.(no dashes) Apparently parts direct is closed right now. Sounds like you and your friend need to figure out how to work that thing without a manual. |

A note to all who helped: Tomorrow, i will call Parts Direct and order the manual for the guy. From the pics, it looks exactly like his machine.

Oh, in case you need some snow to plow, I'd be happy to send ya some of mine! My neighbors took pity on this old Geezer, and they shovelled the front of the driveway, the front walk, and the porch! I went out and cleaned off the car and truck today.
When we moved in this house, back in 1950, after our honeymoon, about three weeks later came a deep snow, and that had us stuck in our house for almost a week! My bride had lived in Pittsburgh, PA., in the city area. If she could of gotten out of here, she would have called the whole thing off, and gone back to her Mother. But, after a large, double bull-dozer finally opened the main roads, we did get out to the grocery store about 5 miles away.
Oh, what was the double bull-dozer? Two massive tracked dozers welded side by side, and they cleared the back roads of everything, including stuck cars and all! And, mail boxes! |

Rusty - you don't need to spend the money to buy one.. unless you just need/want to.
Otherwise go back up to my earlier post in this thread, click on the link, download the manual to yer puter and use as is or print it out :) HTH. |

I wanted to do that, but when my wife heard about me wanting to print it out--all of the snow suddenly blew right off of the roof!
So, i did the next best thing---i took all of the info over to my friend, and left it at his house with his wife, as he was at work. So, he can call and get the booklets.
We are supposed to get more snow dumped on us tomorrow or next day. Wife is all worried, but there isn't anything we can do to stop it, so why worry?! Out here in the suburbs, our streets and roads, highways, interstates are all clear and dry! Can't say that for the city. It looks like a disaster area. Their excuse is they have to plow the main roads and streets downtown, so folks can get to work! But, they don't plow out any streets and roads where the workers live! Why, they even found about twenty streets that aren't even on any city maps! Folks live there, but can't get out or in! |
