Choke Stuck

Hi Everyone, Haven't been on here in a long time.

I just had a brand new Craftsman Riding Mower delivered the other day. Didn't do anything with it until today because of the weather.

Started it and it ran, coughing and sputtering. Upon investigation, I found that the choke was stuck. I manually opened it and the mower ran fine. But when I used the choke again, it stuck again.

I haven't really gotten into it further, but what does it sound like? It's funny that the cable will work it one way but not the other.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jim

"brand new Craftsman..." Call Sears, admittedly, probably a very simple fix, but why chance voiding the warranty?

Good luck,

Ev
