I have a Tecumesh on which I have wrung the head of the high speed jet off. I cannot find a model or serial number on it, it powers a chipper and is badged as a Craftsman, 8.5 HP. The head of the jet is stamped with the numbers 186. Can anyone tell me wich direction to go to get a replacement for this? Thanks.....and don't even ask how I managed to do it....suffice to say I'm a moron.....

Look for a 143.xxxxxx number on the engine.
from that, one MIGHT be able to get the engine Model & Spec.
Don't know if that will really help, but it's a possibility.

    Bill...

I went baqck out nad looked and all I could fine was a Sears sticker with the following info:

    Model: 143.988503
    Family: WTPXS3182BA

Don't know if that helps, but it's all I've got. Thanks Again!
