Scratches

I have a John Deere LT-155 that is about 10 years old. It runs good and looks good.

However in 10 years of mowing around bushes and trees it has collected a couple of surface scratches on the plastic hood

What is the best way to remove them?

RE: Scratches

Try some "Polishing compound", available at places that sell to auto body shops, and at most auto parts stores. Sold under the 3M banner. follow directions on can.
But, if scratches have penetrated the outer coating, you will probably not be able to remove them.
This from an auto body fixer. HTH: Rusty Jones
PS: The product is not the auto polish you buy to make your car shine!
