Do lawn tractors and lawn mowers need new spark plugs every year ?

what does your tractor and engine owners manuals for your machine say? The answer can vary.

If you're trying to save a dollar you can clean, gap, and probably get another year. IMHO, every fall, I change plugs, oil, service or change air cleaner, sharpen blades, etc. etc. etc. Next spring, when this forum is flooded with "it won't start" Everything I own is running. OH, forgot the most important thing, run the engine dry of gas and put a few drops of oil down the spark plug hole and turn the engine over.
