Hi, just picked up a used GT225 with 15HP Kohler motor. Was suprised to find that it doesn't use a standard lawn & garden utility battery but rather a group size 51 battery (which I believe is used in a Honda Civic).

Other than for cold cranking ability, does anyone know why Deere would put such a large battery in this tractor?
