toro gt 2100 vari-drive moves without pressing pedal

toro gt 2100 vari-drive moves...creeps... without pressing pedal. changed out drive belt and this started happening thought it might be too tight loosened no change. when Ideling belt rotates.... should it be ? ....is there some other adjustment im missing.

I hope you changed both drive belts.
Another thing to be certain of is that the DRIVE PEDAL return spring is in place and anchored in its proper location.
Hopefully, tomplum will post here shortly and give you more info.

Oh boy mownie- do I take that as a compliment? :) Actual model #s from below the seat and part # of belt replaced may help. My experience on these are if the front belt is replaced- then rear must be . Rear only can be replaced 2-3 times before the front needs to be. Speaking of spring. Sometimes if one removes the spring at the rear tensioner arm- it gets reattached in the wrong place- things won't work out.
