| Have a craftsman tractor problem, I removed the deck to replace the drive belt and now can't figure where to reconnect the cable that engages the mower blades. Help! the model of the tractor it is a craftsman LT2000 The instruction manual is no help (it is in Spanish) went on-line and no help in the manual there either. *The grass would appreciate this advise very much... |

| While the typical Craftsman owner assumes "LT2000" to be THE model number, that number is no help when seeking technical info. Basically, LT 2000 is useful on the sales floor only (as in "selling you a tractor"). Look under the seat for a decal which bears a 9 or 10 digit string of numerals. Usually it will begin with 917. Find that number, post it here, and help should arrive soon. |

| look in the cavity under your tilting seat. Get the FULL mfgr's model # and Ser # off the decal. go to the link below - enter your model # and look for a link on the resulting web page that will let you download an user's manual @ no charge - needed info s/b in it. note: model # should look like this.. 917.xxxxxx |
