craftsman 42' blade is hitting

I have an older craftsman 42" lawn tractor. My husband replaced both of the blades. Now one bade hits the edge of the deck just slightly. The blade does not seem to slide on and fit like it should. What could be the problem? The other blade slid on exactly how it should.

I have no way of knowing what blade you have, but alot of the Craftsman riders use a rounded star pattern. If the blades aren't properly installed, these star patterns get worn down on the arbor and it's possible to install that blade off center. Check again.
