| Have an interesting problem on my 2284 with a command ch22s engine.
motor starts fine cold but runs badly, sputters etc. if I shut it off it won't start until it cools down for 15-20 min. Knowing these can run on just 1 cylinder I disconnected 1 spark plug and the engine actually sounded better, it did this regardless of which spark plug I disconected. Any ideas? I am thinking ignition coil but wanted to get other ideas. thanks in advance! |

| As a starter, I'd check the quality of the spark with the engine cold vs hot. |
