I have a John Deere 14SB walk behind mower and would like to find a good mulching blade for it. I have the oem blade on it and it does a marginal job.

I've tried the "Gator" blade and it did an awful job. Someone suggested hooking a pipe up to the discharge chute with the gator blade. I've not tried that because the mower is rear discharge for the bagger & it would be a pain to rig up. Also that just seems to me that I would just be discharging the clippings instead of pushing them back into the grass.

Any suggestions on a decent mulching blade?
