| Even though I ran it minutes before. It's done this on and off in the past. When I started it last it only cranked when I released the ignition key after turning it to the right to start it. Could this be a bad starter? Something similar happened to my Ford F150 and it was a bad starter. Any help appreciated! |

| based on your description, that sounds more like a failing ignition switch than a starter. If you have elect skills and test eqpt (VOM, Cont tester, etc) and a wiring diagram, shouldn't be too difficult to chase it down. OTW , prolly need a competent mechanic to take a look before you start buying replacement parts.... |
