safety interlock trainer

I was thinking of creating a training aid to show how to trouble shoot electrical problems that typically occur with lawn tractors.

Maybe by attaching all the actual interlocks(working order from spare and trash pic parts), seat, pto, blade/brake, solenoid, starter and battery, etc on the back of the board. Wire them together (in series) with grounds. On the front could be the ignition switch

Any way, the goal would to be to create different frequently known issues by creating shorts, opens and ground problems so that the student could logically work through the problem to locate and repair it.

Any suggestions?

I think there are far too many different approaches to the way safety switches are implemented.
Craftsman must have at least a dozen by themselves!
Add the various brands & models and eras, since the manfs. had to try to defeat the safety switch "disablers".
