hydro gear oil filter

First I want to thank the members on here, lots of good information that helped me choose my soon to be delivered rider! Its a Sears GT6000 model 917.28861

I'm looking for a oil filter for the transaxel, a Hydro Gear model G7-bcbb-1xdc-1fca. According to hydro-gear the part # is 52114 but I can't get one shipped anywhere I can find for a month since its a small order etc via their channels. I'm in NC.

Does anyone know a cross-reference to another filter or where I can order this sooner?? Thanks in advance

Don't just cross it over to an oil filter.

Transaxle filters usually have a tighter micron rating and different internal construction than oil filters.

Google is your friend.

All I did was GOOGLE 52114 and Amazon was at the top of the list.

Lots of places sell the third party aftermarket replacement filters but I'm a big fan of OEM filters.

Found the filter locally, looks like authentic hydro-gear filters are made in china. Whoodathunkit? ;)

It matters less where they are made and more that they are made to the manufacturer's specifications for the specific installation.
