somewhere on that tractor - possibly in the cavity under the tilting seat - there should be an ID plate/decal showing the FULL model number and serial number and mfgr's name. Get that info and repost here - will help in the search for your item.
Also - as this is a "public": forum - suggest avoiding posting info such as phone numbers, email addys, etc in the future.... sometimes the bad guys get to looking for such.

Hi rcbe, Thanks for your reply. I found the plate under the seat. It only shows the model number. I also found the owners manual and it shows the model number as 455 HYDRO, manufactured by General Power Equipment Company, Harvard, illinois. No where on the mower or in the owners manual or reparts parts manual does it show a serial number. Thanks also for the tip on the phone number I removed it.

This appears to be a pretty standard mid-1990's machine private labelled for General Power Equipment by MTD. I believe the MTD cross for the headlight lens is 731-1099A/931-1099A and cost $45 to $50.

Try to buy it locally, since I'm not positive this is right for your application.

Thanks ggoyeneche, I'm hoping someone maybe able to know where I can find one in a lawn mower junkyard or someone who has this model 455 HYDRO as a junker sitting in their backyard with a good headlight lens on it. Does someone have a junker like mine sitting in their backyard?
