As I understand the service arrangement the local JD dealer will be doing the warranty work for the ones he/she sells and the Lowes ones but there is an extra charge for home pickup and delivery in both cases.

Bear in mind that the promo cart that Lowes is offering is not the 10P cart the dealer sells. I've seen the Lowes cart and is it FLIMSY.

If you've decided on the D110 I'd try to get the dealer to make a concession on a 10P cart (if you want one) to some degree or throw in some other goodies for free and earn some good will by buying from the dealer.

Went to see the dealer today. He told me there is no difference between his unit and the one at lowes. He also said Lowes was supposed to sell for the same price as his, but they are $100 lower. He tried to sell me a 300 series saying, if I originally bought one of those I would still have it. I explaned it was over kill for the size of my yard.

I drove a D130 around the lot and was impressed. I figured with what I was going to pay at Lowes with the extended warrenty I could buy the D130, with the bagger for about $40. over the Lowes deal. And I dont have to worry about service. I ended up With a bigger motor, better seat, cruise and a bumper for $200 more. He told me you would be surprised how many people come in after buying from the big box store, because they where never shown how to drive the tractor. I paid a little more but I feel more confident in my decision. pick it up Thursday.
