I would price the tires at your local tire store if you haven't already. Same w/ inner tubes. Tubes are generally a good way to go provided there isn't something that would tear them inside. In many cases, the inner liner of the tire still will support a tube install.

Agree with Tom. I've put tubes in a lot of older "tubeless" tires and it works well. I'd advise buying the tube at the tire dealer and let them deal with it. Unless you have tools and are familiar with breakinig down a tire, installing tube, etc. It ain't fun. Add to that the chance of nicking or pinching the tube and getting to buy another one....:-(

I've noticed that tire dealers now are offerering a "goop" that's a miracle sealant and has a lifetime warranty. It's not a sealant like slime, etc. but a much thicker (viscous?) product that has to be pumped in. At the price, they should offer lifetime warranty!
