Gas leaking from carburetor

Its a Massey Furgeson 85/Snapper/AMF 8 hp Briggs with a brand X carburetor. I see no name on this piece, it appears that the main jet, idle jet, and needle and seat are servicible.

Does a kit exist for re-sealing the needle and seat? Or is a $4 part available ?

I'll try Ace Hardware. Better than the big box "stores" for small objects.

find the model/type engine numbers, usually stamped on the cooling cowling.
Go to Briggs website - may find a parts list giving some carb details..

The PO installed a fuel shut-off, which must be used, gas is now precious.
MPG is most important
