Briggs & Stratton 16hp engine stopped running

I have a Westwood T1600. I recently serviced the mower and it's been running fine. This morning I started the mower and it fired needing a small amount of choke.

I drove it for about 10 mins and then it just stopped. Stalled like I had switched off the key.

Cannot restart. Just keeps turning over and over and will not fire.

I have checked spark and both plugs have spark and I check the fuel line between the tank and the black solenoid before it heads to the carb.

Has anyone experienced anything like this and what should I be looking to test?

Thanks

Try feeding a spoonful of petrol directly into the carburetor throat.
If the engine responds by running for about 2 seconds when this is done, there is a problem in fuel delivery to the engine.
Just how did you check the fuel solenoid?
It may also be helpful for you to post the engine Model Number and the engine Type Number taken directly off of the engine.
