Previous post was engine removal. Tips from Rustyj14 and justalooker10 were right on the money. So now the old engine is sitting in the corner and the tractor frame is on the floor with the pto and other pulley sitting on a sand bag underneath the frame. I cushioned the fall from the pto with a sand bag.
So the new engine will be bolted to the frame as before.
Question now is . . . . .is there a good way to lift the pto and pulley and place it on the new engine shaft.. I can see sliding the new engine to the rear which might allow me to get the belts back on . . . and then bolt the engine up. How do you do the remount of the pto and pulley the best way?
