| Hello, I cannot figure why my pto does not disengage the mower when running. I pull the knob down when I want to shut it down but blade still is engaged and running! I usally turn the key to off real quick and that usally will stop it. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this does not work correctly? Thanks in advance. |

| Probably needs a good cleaning, and some Rust-oleum, or PB Blaster on the stuff on top of the deck. Might have to remove deck to lube everything and get it working again. |

| IF you unplug the power to the clutch and it still runs then it has a bad bearing in it. IF it stops when unplugged, you got a short. Walt Conner |
