Hello, I cannot figure why my pto does not disengage the mower when running. I pull the knob down when I want to shut it down but blade still is engaged and running! I usally turn the key to off real quick and that usally will stop it. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this does not work correctly? Thanks in advance.

Probably needs a good cleaning, and some Rust-oleum, or PB Blaster on the stuff on top of the deck. Might have to remove deck to lube everything and get it working again.

IF you unplug the power to the clutch and it still runs then it has a bad bearing in it. IF it stops when unplugged, you got a short.
