I have no experience with your mower but on the John Deere Parts website they have blow up part diagrams that may help you.

Enter this as one string.

Then place the model number in the box in the upper left corner.

I have found this site very useful in working on my JD lawn tractor.

Jack it up.

Remove the Center cap from the rim.

Remove the nut or clip that holds the rim on the spindle.

Remove the tire and rim as one unit.

I removed the cap and the bolt but the tire will not slide off. I put oil and tapped on it but still wont come off
