Toro LX425 RE-Starting

Recently got grandpa's Toro LX425 and I'm pretty pleased with it. It's a 2007 and it was free. Changed blades, installed mulch kit, changed oil. Was experiencing scalping and lowered the gauge wheels, duh. Anyway, the problem I have with this mower is the same I had with my old '93 Murray. Murray was Briggs and Toro is Kohler Courage. If the engine is cold, like a day cold, it starts right up. However, if I'm running it for awhile and go to start it up again an hour later, sometimes even less, it takes 5-7 turns of the key to get it going. I'll typically hold it for no more than 10 secs. I've tried choking it, not choking it, etc. and it doesn't matter. Seems like every time it starts on the 5th to 7th turn. Worried about starter. What should I be looking at? Thanks in advance.
