Craftsman Tractor Steering is Loose

What will it take to tighten the steering on my tractor? It is SO loose I cant take it any more, takes almost 180 degrees turning the steering wheel before the wheels begin to move.

Has anyone upgraded the steering completely using better parts than the original tractor comes with? Is there a performance shop I can get parts from?

This is the Craftsman 17-hp Hydrostatic model with 42" deck. I replaced the motor with a 25-hp 445777 0315 E1 Briggs.
