Mower leaving un-cut strips

I have a Cub Cadet tawn tractor. It leaves un-cut strips when mowing the lawn. Neighbor has the same problem. Have a 42" cut and overlap rows so missing that area is not the problem. Think I remember reading this topic a couple of years ago but don't remember the answer. I'm thinking it could be dull blades or cutting the lawn when it is too wet or too long.

hey tom, good thing you asked shamsi what he ended up with on the front to rear pitch. Otherwise, we would never have known for sure...
