Cub Cadet LT1042 will not start after drive belt change

Hello.

After changing out the drive belt on my Cub Cadet LT1042, I started the mower up, and engaged the blade. It shut off immediately, and I found two black wires near the hole by the blade deck. They look as though they came loose from some type of connector, but I can not locate where they came from. It appears as though they are related to either the ignition or the spark plug connector. In the wiring harness that I did find, there was one empty spot, but not enough for two wires. Again it looks as though the black wires belonged to some type of connector. Thanks for looking into my problem.
