Sears EZ3 same frame as GT5000?

I have a 1999 Sears EZ3 with 22hp Kohler twin engine. The mowing deck is wore out and it quit on me yesterday (fuel problem) In the next town over from me there is a Sears GT 5000 with a 25hp Kohler with a blown engine and the frame looks identical to mine Can anyone answer any of the following questions:

1: Are the mowing decks on these models compatible?
2: Are the fuel systems (carb. fuel pump) etc. the same?
3: Would any other parts on these two mowers be interchangeable?

Thank you!
Glynn

Before a reasonable comparison could be made, we would want to know the full model number of each tractor (and even with that, the findings could be "inconclusive).
The full model number can be found under the tilting seat on a decal (usually).
Swapping your 22 HP Kohler to the chassis with the "blown engine" would be a logical and fairly easy (depending on your skill level).
Swapping decks and other components can be sort of "dicey" and require a real time, side by side comparison of components and configuration to decide on that kind of swap.
