Not leveled Between the Edges of the Passes on grass

The riding lawn mower has cut the grass uglier and uglier each time. Every second and there after passes showed clearly the very uneven edges between first and second passes, between the second and the third, and so on. Although the land is not strictly flat, the grass used to look much more even than now after being mowed. I am not handy, and I don't think I could flip the mower over to see what's going on. However, the only logic coming to me is that the blade is crooked or the same sort. What might be wrong? If indeed it is the blade, as a regular home owner with a few tools around, am I be able to replace the blade?

Thanks
