| need help figuring out which mower to fix...
mower A snapper SR 928 series 14. model 280914BE, 12.5 power Briggs and Stratton, engine model 28V707, Type 1113-E1 this mower threw a rod and damaged the piston mower B snapper 120 model 281013BE, 12.5 HP briggs and Stratton, engine model 286707, type 4029-02 this mower has gears stripped in rear axle both have good 28" decks, naturally the engine has been removed from mower A and rear axle from Mower B. my question is can these two be interchanged and which would be the better model to save? |

| Simple---install the good engine in the mower that has the good trans-axle, hook it all up, and go mow! I do that a lot--cheapest way to get a good mower, with little cost! |
