I am not aware of ANY valve guides being available for this engine. Are you sure you are not meaning valve SEALS? A big difference and no, the exhaust does not use valve seals.

What is the difference between a guide and seal? Here's the story. Engine was blowing blue/white smoke so I yanked the heads. The push rods on one side were black so I ordered valve sets and gaskets. The head gaskets did look good though.

If you don't know the difference between a valve guide and a valve seal I question whether you should be doing this or taking it to a pro.

A valve guide is a hard metal tube inserted thru the aluminum head casting that the valve stem runs thru. Aluminum would not take the wear. A valve seal has a thin metal body with pliable seal that keeps oil from being sucked past the Intake Valve stem into the combustion chamber and sits on top of the Intake Valve Guide.

I don't like the cost of taking it to a pro and since I'm relatively capable and not particularly in a hurry, I don't mind making the attempt. I kind of thought the guide and seal were one assembly. If you wouldn't mind sending the manual, I would appreciate it. I'll send you an email.
