another question on a homlite trimmer

ST-385 trimmer.

One 5/32 line from carb to fuel tank which I have hooked up.

This line feeds the carb. It has the filter on it.

There is also an 1/8 inch fitting on the carb that comes off the primer bulb but there is no hole in the gas tank to run the hose to. Where / how do I hook this up?

The trimmer starts and runs great but for the life of me I can't figure why have the primer bulb without a hose going into the tank.

If i remember right, i had one that the excess fuel just ran out onto the ground. That changed when the do-gooders found a way to pizz everybody off!
