Model numbers from below the seat would help. Traction belt tension will come off by setting the park break on some or rolling the belt off the tensioner pulleys.

Thanks tomplum. The top belt could be managed with the brake on. The bottom belt was put on over the left mandrel pulley. I triied pulling it over the PTO first, but didn't have the strength to do it. Then tried the left mandrel and it was manageable, but I was pulling that belt all I had to slip it over the mandrel. You would think the designers would leave you with a hand grip to move those tensioner pulleys so the whole process would be a lot easier to do.

I have seen a lever to pull to release tension on some deck pulleys. altho, i have found, sometimes it is easier to remove the deck, change the belt, and have it ready to slip the belt over the engine pulley, when you get it up in place. That way, you can make sure you have the belt routed correctly. Just have those 2 rods in the front, in place, too.
